Organisation of music artists/bands/models (photoshoot)

This is my photoshoot with Tobie Jackson for images for my contents page and double page spread. We took the photos indoors as I didn't want the photos to be too bright, in order for them to fit in with the colour scheme. My photoshoot with Courtney Grimshaw was also taken inside as the photographs taken indoors came out darker and were easier to edit the contrast to get the end result I wanted.

Organisation of location reece - photos and written description

This is where I took the image for my contents page. It is in the living room of Tobie's house. I chose this location as it was quite dark in this room and the colour of the rug on the floor tied in very well with the dark grey/burgundy colour scheme I applied to my contents page and double page spread. The images with the colourful rug was the room I took the photographs for my contents page. This is due to the colour of the rug and the dark colour of the room itself. I think these tied in more with the over all colour scheme I used for my contents page. The other room with the plain white/cream wall was where I took the photographs for my double page spread. I used this room as for the DPS I wanted the main focus to be on the model himself, so I just wanted a plain background for him to stand against so that none of the focus was taken off of him.

Organisation of props and costumes

For my front cover I didn't need to use any props as the image is only a close up of the model's face. I used this assortment of make up to make her lips and eyes as bold and eye catching as possible:

Sequins to stick on her lips

Eye lashes to make her eyes bigger and bolder

Lip gloss for the sequins to stick to

Eye liner to make her eyes darker

Eye shadow to make her eyes darker

For my contents page and double page spread I used the same model, who wore the same clothes in both images in order to show the link between the two photographs. The only prop I used for these images was a cigarette, as I kept the rest of the image quite simple.
